About Larch

A small clinic, led by a physician.

Larch opened in South Pandosy in 2017. There are five of us, three treatment rooms, and one rule: you should leave looking like yourself.

A hillside of golden larches below snowy peaks and a grey sky.

Why a family doctor opened a clinic.

Dr. Maren Aalto practised family medicine in the Okanagan for twelve years. Patients kept asking her where to go for injectables, and the honest answer was that she wasn’t sure.

So she trained in medical aesthetics, and in 2017 she opened Larch: a small clinic where every plan starts with a medical consultation, the prices are in writing, and the aim is that nobody can tell what you’ve had done.

She named it after the western larch, the conifer that turns gold on the hills around Kelowna every October, drops its needles, and grows them back each spring. It changes with the seasons and still looks like itself. That’s the idea.

Every injector is a physician, a nurse practitioner or a registered nurse.
